Eric Schwalbach doesn't build churches.
He goes where the people are — the streets, the locker rooms, the prisons, the classrooms, the recovery meetings.
Every ministry on this site is a different door into the same fire. Find yours.
"Christ said Come and See — but He ordered us to Go."Isaiah 6:8 · The Going Ministry
Five ministry fronts. Two school initiatives.
One school board race. One man. Going.
Eric Schwalbach has been in the classroom for thirty years. He has been in the streets, the prisons, the recovery meetings, and the locker rooms for just as long. The Going Ministry is not a building. It is not a 501(c)(3) waiting for a board meeting.
It is five distinct ministries, each built for a specific person in a specific place — with a school strategy and a school board campaign running alongside them. Every front is engineered to reach one niche audience nobody else is going to.
Five ministry fronts. Each built for a different person in a different place.
You've never set foot in a church and you don't plan to. But something keeps pulling you toward a conversation you can't explain. This is where that conversation happens — not behind stained glass.
Coming Soon Coaches · Convicts · CopsYou wear a whistle, a badge, or a number. You know discipline. You know failure. C3C is where coaches, law enforcement, and formerly incarcerated men find they're fighting the same battle from different sides.
Coming Soon Trauma · HealingThe wound nobody can see is the one that runs deepest. You look fine. You function. But something happened that changed the shape of everything since. This is for that.
Coming Soon Addiction · RecoveryYou know what it costs. You know what it takes. You've seen what the other product does to a neighborhood, a family, a life. There's a different product on the table — same streets, different deal.
Coming Soon Students Ages 12–25You're not the next generation waiting to grow up. You are the fire right now. Young Fire is the event, the community, the spark for students who are done sitting in the stands.
The school isn't the enemy. The school is the mission field. Eric has been inside it for 30 years. These two initiatives bring the ministry into the building through every legal door available.
You go to school. You believe something. And you have every legal right to gather with others who do too. The Equal Access Act guarantees it. Jesus Clubs is the framework, the support, and the community for student-led faith expression on campus — fully protected, fully legal.
Start or Join a Club School Board · Lake County District 1A school board seat held by a 30-year classroom teacher changes what's possible. Eric's candidacy is the civic arm of the ministry — protecting religious freedom in schools, backing student-led faith clubs, and ensuring no student's faith gets pushed to the margins.
See the Platform30 years. Real classrooms. Real students. Real results. Pat Kelley studies the problem from the outside. Eric has been inside it every single day for three decades. That isn't a talking point — it is the argument.
Vote SchwalbachEric Schwalbach doesn't run a ministry machine. He runs toward people. For thirty years he has been in the classroom during the week and in the streets, prisons, recovery meetings, and locker rooms every other waking hour.
"Every site in this ecosystem is a different expression of the same calling: go."
He is not building a brand. He is building a path to the fire for whoever will follow it — regardless of which door they came through.
